SFZC's Temple Stewardship Fund
Caring for the home of practice
for generations to come
About San Francisco Zen Center's Temple Stewardship Fund
For over sixty years, SFZC's three temples have sheltered the living practice of Soto Zen Buddhism, offering the path of wisdom, compassion, and community to all who seek it. From City Center to Green Gulch Farm to Tassajara, these beloved places offer a steady home for a way of life rooted in the practice and teachings of our founder Shunryu Suzuki Roshi.
Now, many of these buildings, lands, and systems need serious attention so they can continue to support this unique offering. the Temple Stewardship Fund is an invitation to roll up our sleeves together—to preserve the places that make our vows visible and sustain Zen practice for generations to come.
